Who We Are

A team of animal lovers looking to bring awareness.

Polar bears are classified as marine mammals because they spend most of their lives on the sea ice of the Arctic Ocean. Polar bears depend on sea ice for their means of hunting and survival.

A polar bear’s diet typically includes animals such as: ringed seals, bearded seals, and beluga whales. To survive, polar bears must eat about 4.4 pounds of fat per day.

The total population of polar bears are divided into 19 subpopulations. Of the 19 subpopulations of polar bears, four are in decline as a result of the many threats they are up against; one of which is climate change.
